I took eleven one-hour photos on the night of October 18/19…
7-8pm: C 9 Cave Nebula
8-9pm: SH2-171 Teddy Bear Nebula
9-10pm: SH2-103 Veil Nebula
10-11pm: C 20 NGC7000, North America Nebula
11-12pm: IC 360 Faint Dusty Molecular Cloud
12-1am: M 45 Pleiades, Seven Sisters
1-2am: M 31 Andromeda Galaxy
2-3am: IC 353 Diffuse Reflection Nebula
3-4am: M 33 Triangulum Galaxy
4-5am: IC 434 Horsehead Nebula
5-6am: C 41 Hyades Star Cluster
All eleven images are included below. Most turned out quite well, although a few, such as the Cave Nebula, were less successful.
I did some postprocessing to most of them, mainly to remove light pollution and unflat background.
I also cropped some of them to focus the viewer’s attention on the interesting stuff.
All 11 images you see are in large size. At Large size, the entire collection comes to 4.1 MB. Sending them at their original Actual size would bring the total to 58.4 MB, which I suspect would be too large for an email attachment!
PS. I used the SeeStar app’s “Plan” tool to suggest what things to take pictures of, when to start, when to end, and how much time on each object. These eleven one-hour blocks were all automatically suggested by SeeStar.
